We're grateful to have you as part of the Maymont community and hope your experience here has felt like home. This page outlines everything you need to know about renewing your lease, including available options and what to expect after you've made your decision. Already decided? We're here to help you take the next step.

How It Works

Your Renewal Timeline

Here's what to expect as your lease approaches its end date, and a couple of key dates to keep in mind.

1

Your renewal offer is sent

Around 75 days before your lease ends, our team will send your renewal offer to the email address on file. Your offer will include your new rent amount and your response deadline.

Make sure the email address on your account is current so your offer reaches you. If you do not see it in your inbox, please check your spam and promotions folders.

2

Review your options

Take time to review your offer and choose the option that works best for you. If you have questions before deciding, our team is here to help — reach out to us or give us a call.

3

Confirm your renewal

To accept your renewal offer, sign your new lease documents sent to your email. Your email containing the new lease will come from Maymont Homes Leasing at noreply@mrisecuresign.com. All leaseholders on the agreement must sign for the renewal to be processed. To maintain renewal eligibility, be sure to keep your account balance up to date and clear of any violations.

4

You're all set

Once all leaseholders have signed, we will counter-sign and send your fully executed lease to your inbox. Keep an eye on your inbox for any additional communications from our team in case anything else is needed.

How Your Renewal Rate Is Set

Your renewal rate is based on current rental market conditions in your area, including comparable rates for similar homes nearby. We communicate your rate directly in your renewal offer so you have time to review it before your deadline.

What can influence your renewal rate:

Current market rental rates for similar homes in your area
The timing of your renewal request

If you have questions about your offer, our team is happy to walk you through it. Give us a call.

Next Steps

Ready to Make a Decision?

Here's what to do depending on where you land.

I want to renew

Check your inbox for your new lease document. The email will come from Maymont Homes Leasing at noreply@mrisecuresign.com. Electronically sign the document, and once all leaseholders have signed, we will counter-sign and send your fully executed lease to your inbox. Keep your account balance current and clear of violations to maintain eligibility.

I Want to Renew

I am planning to move out

You are required to submit your notice to vacate at least 60 days before your lease end date. Contact our team to start the process, or visit the Move-Out Guide for a full walkthrough of what comes next.

I missed my deadline

If your lease end date has passed or is close without a signed renewal or notice on file, reach out to our team as soon as possible. Depending on the terms of your current lease, your tenancy may automatically convert to a month-to-month agreement at your current rent plus 30%. A $500 fee may apply if no notice is received within 60 days of your lease end date.

How do I renew my lease online?
Open the renewal email sent to you, click the link, and electronically sign your lease documents. All leaseholders on the agreement must sign for the renewal to be processed.
Will my rent change when I renew?
Your renewal rate is based on current rental market conditions in your area, including comparable homes nearby. Your offer will state the new rate upfront.
How much notice do I need to give if I am not renewing?
Most leases require at least 60 days of written notice to vacate. Review your specific lease agreement for details. Each leaseholder must submit their own notice.
What happens if I do not respond to my renewal offer?
