Accessing Your New Home
Here's exactly how you'll get into your home on move-in day and what to do if you have any trouble.

Watch for Your Access Email
You'll receive access instructions by 10:00 AM ET on your move-in day.
- Sent to the email on your lease
- Check your spam folder if it hasn't arrived by mid-morning

Physical Keys via Lockbox
Most homes provide physical keys in a lockbox at the property.
- The email includes the lockbox location and a 4-digit code
- Return the lockbox to its original spot after retrieving keys

Smart Lock Access via Rently
Homes with smart locks use a separate 5-digit code delivered through Rently.
- You'll receive a separate Rently message with your code
- The code activates on your lease start date

Complete Your Move-In Inspection
Within 72 hours of getting access, complete the digital move-in inspection sent to your email. Document any existing damage with photos so you're not held responsible later.
