Move-Out Guide
Returning Your Keys
Return all keys and access devices by your move-out date to avoid additional charges. Here's what to gather and how to return it.
1
Gather Everything
Collect all keys and access devices issued for the home.
- House keys, mailbox keys, and any gate or amenity keys
- Garage door remotes and any smart-home or access devices
2
Follow Your Return Instructions
Your move-out confirmation explains exactly how to return items.
- Many homes use the lockbox; others require drop-off or mail-in
- Check your confirmation email for the method that applies to you
3
Confirm by Your Move-Out Date
Keys must be returned by your scheduled move-out date.
- Late returns may be treated as continued occupancy and charged rent
- Keep a record of when and how you returned everything
Lost a Key or Device?
If you can't locate a key, remote, or access device, let us know before move-out. Replacement costs may apply but reporting early avoids larger charges.
