Getting Your Security Deposit Back
Here's how the security deposit refund process works and what you can do to maximize your return.

Provide a Forwarding Address
Make sure we have your new address to send your refund.
- Include it with your notice to vacate or update it in the portal
- Refunds cannot be processed without a valid forwarding address

Move-Out Inspection
After you vacate, we inspect the home and document its condition.
- Normal wear and tear is expected and not charged
- Damage beyond normal wear and unpaid balances may be deducted

Receive Your Itemized Statement
You'll get a statement detailing any deductions and your refund amount.
- Refunds are processed within the timeframe required by your state
- The statement itemizes any charges against the deposit
